Pacer 144017 is now at Scunthorpe and on selected days we are offering the opportunity to  drive the train  around the  internal system of British Steel  Scunthorpe ,departing from and  returning to  Frodingham platform

 for  each experience we  request a  donation  of 200  for  one  person to  drive the train or  300  for  two  people  to share  the  time  driving the  train  - this  is  to cover  the  running costs  and  to  maintain the  unit

 Each experience   will  consist of about 2 hours driving the  unit

Terms and conditions  of  booking
1

 all  participants   must  present  themselves  in   fit  state  to rive  the  unit ,no one  under  the  influence  of  alcohol or  drugs will  be allowed  to drive  the  unit

2 All participants  must  follow  the  instructions  of  the  instructor  at all  times  - British steel  Scunthorpe  is  not a  mainline  railway  and   speeds will  be  limited at  various points  around  the  site
3 up to  5  family  members  may  accompany   you  and  the  on the  train whilst  you  are  driving , they  will  e  seate  in tha  passenger  saloon , not  in the  driving cab
4 no special  footwear  or  clothing is  required  for  this  experience  , but   a face covering must  be  worn  as  per  the  government  guidelines
5 you  must  arrive  on time  for the  experience   time  on the  footplate is  limited  , late  arrivals  will only  get  the  time  from arrival upto the  end of  their  allocated  period  - if a late  start  is  due  to  AFRPS  , we  will ensure  you  get your  full time
6 AFRPS  reserve  the  right  to  cancel  these  experiences  should  we  have  a  mechanical or  electrical  failure  on the  unit  which makes it  impossible to  continue. should  this  occur  , we  welcome  you  to  arrange  another  day
