Pacer 144017 is now at Scunthorpe and on selected days we are offering the opportunity to  drive the train  around the  internal system of British Steel  Scunthorpe ,departing from and  returning to  Frodingham platform

 for  each experience we  request a  donation  of £225  for  one  person to  drive the train or  £325  for  two  people  to share  the  time  driving the  train  - this  is  to cover  the  running costs  and  to  maintain the  unit

All bookings made on or  before the 31st December 2023 will receive an early booking discount of £25 per booking (discount will be given at checkout)

 Each experience   will  consist of about 2 hours driving the  unit

 All Drivers  must  be  aged  18  years  or  over 

Participants must be over 18 years of age and be physically and mentally fit with reasonable hearing and vision. In particular participants must be capable of climbing up and descending the vertical steps between the footplate of the locomotive and ground level (approximately 6’)

The railway reserves the right to refuse access onto locomotives to anyone who appears to be unfit to operate them. This includes anyone who appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
